Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60mL) Natrel butter
- 1/2 cup (125mL) sugar
- 2 Ripe, mashed bananas
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 cups (625mL) flour
- 2 tsp (10mL) baking powder
- 1/2 tsp (2mL) baking soda
- 1/2 tsp (2mL) salt
- 1 cup (250mL) Québon cultured buttermilk product
Preparation
- In a large bowl, beat the butter into a creamy texture.
- Add sugar and mashed bananas. Mix well. Add the egg and continue mixing.
- Mix dry ingredients separately.
- Begin slowly incorporating the dry ingredients alternating with little amount of Québon culured buttermilk product until all ingredients are combined.
- Pour into a greased and floured 9’’ x 5’’ loaf pan. Bake at 350ᵒ F (180ᵒ C) for approximately 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
