Recipe of crêpes with maple pralines and deliciously sweet walnuts. Garnish this dessert with a rosetta of whipped cream.

          Ingredients
              - 1 cup (250 mL) whole wheat flour
 - 1 pinch salt
 - 2 tbsp (30 mL) sugar
 - 2 eggs
 - 1 1/4 cup (310 mL) milk
 - 3 tbsp (45 mL) vegetable oil
 - 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
 - 2 tbsp (30 mL) walnuts, finely chopped
 
Maple and Nut Praline
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) maple syrup
 - 1/4 cup (60 mL) walnuts, chopped
 
Garnish
- 1 container (237 mL) 3% M.F. Québon Ultra’cream Custard Cream
 - 1/2 cup (125 mL) 35% M.F. Québon Ultra’cream Whipping Cream
 
Preparation
              - Mix all the ingredients of the crêpe batter with an electric beater or a mixer.
 - In a non-stick pan, cook 8 to 12 thin crêpes of approximately 15 cm (6”) in diameter.
 - Place aside and keep warm or reheat in microwave before serving.
 
Maple and Nut Praline
- In a casserole, reduce the maple syrup over medium-high heat for 8 minutes.
 - Add nuts and pour the mixture into an aluminium plate.
 - Let cool and break into little pieces.
 
To Serve
- Serve two crêpes folded in four per guest and pour a ring of custard cream around it.
 - Garnish with whipped cream rosettas, maple praline and nuts.
